Step into our bustling Second Year ECCE Room - Busy Bee, where the buzz of learning fills the air and every child's potential is nurtured with care and dedication. In the Busy Bee Room, we provide a dynamic and engaging environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning, laying the foundation for lifelong success and fulfillment.
In our Busy Bee Room, the child-adult ratio is meticulously maintained at 1:7, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention and support they need to thrive and flourish. Under the guidance of our dedicated team of professionals, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
Leading the way is Susanna Shiels, our esteemed Leader and LINC Coordinator. Susanna brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, holding a Fetac Level 8 qualification in Childcare and Education, along with certifications in First Aid Responder (FAR), a Fetac Special Needs Course, Child Protection, Fire Protection, Manual Handling, and Learning Stories. As the LINC Coordinator, Susanna is dedicated to assisting children with special educational needs, ensuring that every child receives the support and resources they need to thrive.
Assisting Susanna is Emma Devenney, our Deputy Leader in Preschool and Leader in After School. Emma holds a Fetac Level 7 qualification in Childcare, along with certifications in First Aid Responder (FAR), Manual Handling, and HACCP. Additionally, Emma serves as the Fire Safety Officer, ensuring that our Busy Bee Room maintains the highest standards of safety and security.
Supporting Susanna and Emma is Mary Deans, a dedicated assistant with a passion for early childhood education. Mary holds a Fetac Level 6 qualification in Childcare, as well as certifications in Manual Handling, First Aid Responder (FAR), Siolta, Aistear, Fire Safety Training, and a Level 7 qualification in Special Educational Needs. With her caring and nurturing approach, Mary plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel supported and encouraged to learn and grow.
