First Year ECCE - Rainbows

Step into our vibrant First Year ECCE Room - Rainbows, where every child's journey begins with warmth, care, and boundless opportunities for growth and discovery. In the Rainbows Room, we provide a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning, setting the stage for a successful educational experience.

Within our Rainbows Room, the child-adult ratio is carefully maintained at 1:7, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention and support they deserve to flourish and thrive. With a team of dedicated professionals, we create a safe and stimulating environment where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore.

Leading the way is Vera Adams, our esteemed Leader and Health and Safety Officer. Vera brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, holding a FETAC Level 7 qualification in Childcare, along with certifications in Manual Handling, First Aid Responder (FAR), Child Protection, Learning Stories, and Fire Safety. Additionally, Vera's commitment to the well-being of our children extends to her role as the Health and Safety Officer, ensuring that our Rainbows Room is a secure and nurturing environment for all.

Assisting Vera is Maura Crossan, a dedicated assistant with a passion for early childhood education. Maura holds a Fetac Level 6 qualification in Childcare and Education, complemented by certifications in First Aid Responder (FAR), Child Protection, and ECDL. With her caring and nurturing approach, Maura plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel supported and encouraged to learn and grow.

Supporting Vera and Maura is Lisa Smyth, our Deputy Leader, who brings her expertise and enthusiasm to the Rainbows Room. Lisa holds a Level 6 qualification in Early Years Care and Education, along with certifications in First Aid Responder (FAR), Manual Handling, and a Level 5 qualification in Special Educational Needs. With her dedication to inclusive education and a nurturing approach, Lisa ensures that every child's unique needs are met with compassion and understanding.
